C♥M005 : Rotor Perdition - Say It Like It Feels CS

Rotor Perdition is one youngish man howling about teen age. As we have pointed out before, this is overdriven re-enlivement of teenage devastation. Yay! indeed.

It could make you think of : pop music in the late 20th and early 21st century, drum & bass in the early 1990s, Jamie Stewart.

His debut cassette, "Say It Like It Feels" is seven songs and two remixes long. It was recorded very quickly, most of these are first takes, using a keyboard from the 1990s, a microphone and a mix table with everything at 10ish. It is not so much lo-fi as it is very, very loud.

Two remixes of "Bruce Springsteen Japanese Porn" were done by Off Garde from Dublin and YGBK from Jakarta.

C♥M004 is Rotor Perdition's debut 7".

It is a very special item. We've made 5 of them. They're made out of glue (negative casting on a reversed 7" cut) and they play from the inside out. They could play better but hey, you can't have it all (can you?). Handmade covers.

They look terrific and they're sold-out :

"No More" is Rotor Perdition's first release and is the first track on "Say It Like It Feels", his upcoming cassette out very soon right here. It sounds like what it is : a distorted re-enlivement of teenage devastation. Yay!

C♥M002 is Sébastien Duclos' first album as Sébastien Duclos, "Burials."

Harmonium / Acoustic Guitar / Vocals and lots of layering. Sounds like a mix of Nico's "Marble Index", Xiu Xiu's "Fag Patrol" and Smog's "Wild Love", with the nightlight on.

What he says about it : "My grandparents died, I had a harmonium."
